Membership is reviewed before approval
African Tourism Professionals Association reviews every application to ensure new members meet the association's professional and ethical standards. Approval is not automatic, and we may follow up to request additional documentation before a membership is confirmed. All other requirements, as detailed on this page, still apply.
Membership Application Requirements
Required Licenses and Registrations
You must be fully registered and have licenses required to operate a tourism business in your country.
Have a Fully Operational Website
You must have a fully finctional website showcasing your services or products.
Location
You must have an active and operational office in tour country/countries where you operate. On this, we will ask for photos to prove this before the approval of your application. A

Membership Fees
Every member must pay membership fee per year and this is charged as follows:
Tour Companies - USD 120Hotels & Lodges - 150
Associations - Free
Conservations Organizations - Free
Big Companies (Airlines) - USD 200
Tourism Schools - $400
